Weighted Health Histogram

Weighted Health Histogram

The Weighted Health Histogram is an experimental material toxicity hazard scoring system whose goals are twofold: First, to provide better precision than GreenScreen or Cradle to Cradle hazard scoring, by adding an additional decimal in scores.  Second, to have the overall score transparently show the (often large) uncertainties and ranges of different scores in the individual hazard categories, without overwhelming the viewer with all the details of every score for every hazard category.  These goals are similar to the scorecard described in the paper “Aiding alternatives assessment with an uncertainty-tolerant hazard scoring method”, but the execution is simpler and requires less subjective judgment.
